WAIT THESE GAMES ARE ON HERE?! BEST GAMES OF MY CHILDHOOD
These are some amazing samples you've recorded, and the song is just so emotional. Loving some of the borrowed chords (I think that's what it is) you've used, and man these vocals are angelic. I don't know how you keep improving like this man, each song is better than the last
Thank you Potang!! There were a TON of samples from so many sources. I didn’t actually know what borrowed chords are prior to reading this review, but now I have a new music theory weapon in my arsenal, thanks! Glad you liked the vocals as well, I was a bit unsure about them. Idk if I’ll be able to keep up this rate of improvement after THIS track, but I will absolutely keep working!
It's really atmospheric, and quite unique too! I could see this in an indie game that blows up for its soundtrack, it's got this charm that no other producer has. Definitely deserves the front page!
Thank you! I’m super glad you enjoy me unique production style, things are only going to get weirder from here lol
Loving this melody! You've chosen some interesting sounds, but you've centered the rest of the instruments around this style and it all fits. I also like your song's structure, the intro leads up to the main thing nicely. You've also captured the ominous vibe extremely well. I only needed to hear 5 seconds before I could tell exactly what you were trying to make.
One thing that's immediately noticeable is that the snare's volume seems to fluctuate. At times it gets lost in the mix, and other times it sticks out sharply. I think one thing you should do is figure out what's causing that. Another thing is the kick drum. I can't hear it very well. Especially for something like this, I'd suggest both changing the kick drum to something a bit punchier, and sidechaining the kick to the rest of the instruments. This will give the song that pumping feel and bring out the kick.
Another thing would be compression. The waveform has a lot of tiny sharp spikes; you could put a compressor on the master and compress those spikes. That way, it'll allow you to increase the volume a bit more! There's also a short loud click sound at the very end of the track. You might want to fix that.
Great job!
Thanks for the review! I’m definitely taking the feedback into consideration for future songs.
I had no idea you were on Newgrounds too! Great quality as always! Also human's mind is based

It's cool to see both of your guys' styles come together! You might want to link the other person's socials so that you credit them effectively.
Thanks for the tip!
